The front-month Brent futures contract initially softened from above $65/bbl to $64.75/bbl at 09:25 GMT, before jumping to $65.30/bbl by 10:00 GMT and climbing further to $66.15/bbl at 10:45 GMT (time of writing), the M1 contract’s highest level since the end of October 2025. Some personnel were reportedly advised to leave the US military’s Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar by Wednesday....
